LOW BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL IN HUMAN BODY
A blood sugar level below 70 mg/dL is considered to be low before eating or below 100 mg/dL is considered to below after eating. Generally this occurs when your blood sugar (glucose) is lower than normal.
Reasons:
1. Low blood sugar may occur in the people with diabetes who are taking insulin or certain medications to control diabetes.
2. Eating less than usual.
3. Doing more exercise than daily.
4. Drinking alcohol.
5. Spending time at higher altitude
Symptoms:
1. Fast heartbeat.
2. Shaking.
3. Sweating
4. Anxiety or nervousness
5. Confusion.
6. Feeling hungry
7. Dizziness.
Treatment:
1. Taking 1 tablespoon of sugar.
2. Eat high fiber foods.
3. Take glucose gel or glucose powder or glucose tablets.
4. Eat dates (karjuram), bananas, Custard apple (seethaphal), Sapota, Pine apple.
5. If it is unable to control, consult doctor immediately.
